How Can We Help?

The University Access Project (UAP) is a flagship initiative of Notha Development Foundation, created to support academically talented but financially disadvantaged matriculants. As a volunteer, your role directly contributes to transforming lives and building a more equitable future.

  • Guide learners in completing online and manual application forms

  • Assist with compiling required documents (certified ID, results, proof of residence, etc.)

  • Track deadlines and submission confirmations

  • Help learners identify career paths based on interests, strengths, and performance

  • Explain available university programs and opportunities

  • Offer emotional and academic support through regular check-ins

  • Share personal experiences and tips for surviving and thriving in university

  • Stay connected with students after university admission to help ensure that they remain enrolled and supported

  • Provide general admin support to the project
  • Help with organizing events, transport logistics, documentation, and resource distribution

  • Passion for youth development and education

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic understanding of university application processes (training will be provided)

  • Willingness to work in underserved areas with minimal resources

  • Minimum time commitment: at least 4–6 hours per week during application season (May–October)
